Head of Department IT ERP (SAP S/4HANA)

The Company is seeking a Head of Department for IT ERP with a focus on SAP S/4HANA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary management of a team of approximately 16 employees, including SAP consultants, developers, EDI specialists, and external partners. This role involves overseeing the further development of the SAP application landscape and managing the ongoing SAP S/4HANA transformation until 2027. The Head of Department will also be tasked with the optimization and harmonization of business processes along the value chain, with a specific focus on the core processes Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P). Applicants must have several years of experience in a disciplinary management role, with a background as a team leader, group leader, Head of SAP, or in a comparable leadership position. Experience in leading diverse teams of consultants, developers, and external partners is essential, as is a very good understanding of O2C and P2P processes, SAP SD, and SAP MM. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP applications and business processes, particularly in the context of SAP transformation or SAP S/4HANA projects. An assertive yet appreciative leadership style, excellent communication skills, and experience in change management are also key requirements for this role.
