Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to lead and manage the financial and accounting operations for its Hong Kong business. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a range of activities, including monthly management and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes. This role also involves providing financial analysis and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements, and managing the annual audit, tax filing, and regulatory reporting processes. The Head of Finance will be expected to monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance against the budget, as well as to strengthen internal controls, policies, and the governance framework. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should have a degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, and be a qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA, HKICPA, or equivalent). A minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience, with a focus on financial and management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, is required. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of internal controls, audit, and compliance requirements, and experience in service-oriented industries such as education, healthcare, hospitality, or professional services. Strong stakeholder management, business partnering skills, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems are essential. The role also involves leading and developing a small finance team, so previous team leadership experience is necessary.
