The Company is in search of a Vice President I for Early-Stage Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing sustainable revenues within the existing customer portfolio and through the targeted acquisition of quality Seeds to pre-Series A companies. This role requires the effective management, development, and retention of business relationships to increase the share of wallet from start-ups. The Vice President will also be expected to develop and maintain market knowledge, intelligence, and a network with VC/Seed/Angels & Accelerators to build or expand relationships. Protecting the company's assets and reputation, monitoring for suspicious behavior, and collaborating with other teams to ensure an excellent customer experience are also key aspects of the position. Applicants for this role at the company should be university graduates with a strong background in relationship management, communication, and influencing skills. Experience in the venture capital and/or tech and innovation start-up ecosystem is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a high level of customer-centricity, a dedication to delivering exceptional quality services, and a strong motivation to grow existing business and win new business. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required, with additional proficiency in Putonghua being an advantage. The role may also be suitable for candidates with less experience, who are being considered for junior or other roles within business banking.
