Head of Plant Accounts & Commercial

The Company is seeking a Head of Plant Accounts and Commercial to oversee the financial and commercial functions of its manufacturing units. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing financial accounting, reporting, consolidation of accounts, accounts payable, balance sheet control, internal and external audit coordination, budgeting, and financial analysis. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong business acumen, excellent leadership and people management skills, and a high level of integrity. The Head of Plant Accounts will also be tasked with driving process automation, digital transformation initiatives, and promoting a culture of strong controls, compliance, and operational excellence. Candidates for the Head of Plant Accounts and Commercial position at the company should have a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, with additional qualifications such as CMA, MBA in Finance, CPA, or ACCA being advantageous. A minimum of 15-20 years' of progressive experience in manufacturing company accounting and financial reporting, particularly with SAP as the accounting software, is required. Experience in a listed manufacturing company is preferred. The role demands a professional with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong stakeholder management, and communication skills, and the ability to work under strict deadlines and regulatory reporting timelines. Success in this role will be measured by the timely and accurate closure of accounts, reduction in audit observations, and the quality of financial analysis supporting business growth.
