Head of HSE

The Company is in search of a Head of HSE to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership of an HSE team, the development and implementation of company-wide HSE strategy, and the management of HSE systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. This role requires a strategic leader who is operationally present, and who can actively shape the company's HSE culture. Key responsibilities include planning and supporting audits, further developing HSE standards, monitoring legal and regulatory developments, and collaborating with various departments, both locally and internationally. Applicants for the Head of HSE position at the company should have a completed degree or comparable qualification in HSE, occupational safety, environmental management, engineering, or a related field. A specialist qualification in occupational safety, several years of experience in HSE/EHS management, and a background in a manufacturing industrial environment are essential. The role demands a good understanding of German and European HSE regulations, experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, and a proven track record in management. Strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a hands-on mentality are also required. Experience in an international setting and good English language skills are advantageous.
