Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) for its Indian subsidiary. This high-impact role is pivotal in leading the end-to-end operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, quality, project execution, service operations, and Environment, Health, and Safety. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the company's commercial strategy into an integrated operational plan, driving manufacturing performance, and upgrading the local manufacturing facility to meet global standards. Key responsibilities also include leading Sales and Operations Planning, strengthening supply chain resilience, ensuring robust project execution, and building an effective service operating model. The COO will be expected to partner with global and local teams, establish quality management systems, and drive continuous improvement and operational excellence. Applicants for the COO position should have a proven track record in senior operational leadership within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, sourcing, quality systems, and project execution. Experience in technology-driven capital equipment businesses, particularly in the power generation industry, is highly advantageous. The role requires a strategic vision, hands-on leadership style, and the ability to lead organizational change. A degree in engineering, industrial management, operations, or a related field is required, with an advanced degree being a plus. The ideal candidate will have solid financial and commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international environment.
