Head of Data

The Company is seeking a Head of Data to spearhead the organization's data strategy, governance, and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for modernizing the cloud data infrastructure, with a focus on analytics, MI, and self-service reporting. This role is pivotal in building data literacy across the organization and ensuring that data is effectively leveraged to support strategic and operational decision-making. The Head of Data will lead a high-performing data team, driving best practices in data engineering, and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. To excel in this position, candidates must have significant experience in developing and delivering data strategies within a complex organization, as well as a proven track record in leading data, analytics, or data engineering functions. A strong understanding of modern data technologies, including cloud-based platforms, and technical proficiency in SQL and Python is essential. The role requires experience in designing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and modern data models, as well as a practical understanding of data architecture approaches. The Head of Data will also be expected to have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with senior leaders. A pragmatic, commercially minded approach, and a clear focus on turning data into measurable organizational value, are key attributes for the role.
