Head of Enterprise Risk Management

The Company is in search of a seasoned Head of Enterprise Risk Management to take on a pivotal leadership role in the enhancement of its enterprise-wide risk framework. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving the development and strengthening of the organization's risk management practices, with a focus on underwriting, reserving, investment, and credit risk. This highly visible position involves significant interaction with executive leadership, board committees, and key regulatory stakeholders. Responsibilities include ensuring the effective identification, assessment, monitoring, and management of material risks in line with the agreed risk appetite, as well as leading critical risk management activities such as own risk and solvency assessments, internal model validation, and regulatory reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the insurance sector, extensive experience in enterprise risk management, and a deep understanding of risk management frameworks, actuarial and analytical disciplines, and regulatory expectations. Strong knowledge of PRA and FCA regulations, particularly in the context of Solvency UK requirements, is essential. The role also involves promoting a strong risk culture, maintaining regulatory compliance, and overseeing risk reporting at the board and executive levels. The Head of Enterprise Risk Management will be responsible for building and mentoring a team of risk professionals, and previous experience in people leadership is required.
