Head of Global Payments Internal Audit

The Company is in search of a Head of Global Payments Internal Audit to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of the annual global payments audit plan, ensuring it is in line with key risks and regulatory requirements. This role involves identifying emerging risks and regulatory obligations, executing various audits related to payments, and leveraging data analytics throughout the audit process. The Head of Global Payments Internal Audit will also be tasked with developing audit documentation, preparing reports for senior stakeholders, and tracking the resolution of audit findings. Applicants must have a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIA, CISA, CPA, CFA, CIMA, or equivalent, and possess strong internal audit experience within payments, fintech, financial services, or technology businesses. A good knowledge of UK and European payments regulations, licensing, and compliance frameworks is essential. The role requires excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to work independently while being highly organized. An interest in technology and the ability to quickly understand complex products and business models is also a key requirement. The position may involve international travel of up to 30%.
