Vice President, Finance

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Finance / Controller to play a pivotal role in the organization's financial leadership. The successful candidate will be tasked with fortifying the link between corporate accounting, finance operations, and the business units, particularly as the company experiences growth and expansion. This key position involves overseeing a range of operational accounting and finance functions, including credit and collections, payroll, accounts payable, and operational accounting. The Vice President will also be responsible for providing strategic leadership to business unit finance leaders and controllers, driving process improvement, and ensuring that financial processes and controls are scalable and efficient. Applicants for the Vice President, Finance / Controller role at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 12 years' progressive experience in accounting and finance leadership, particularly within a multi-site, multi-entity, or decentralized organization, is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational accounting background, a proven track record of partnering with business leaders to influence decision-making, and experience in driving process standardization and scalability. A background in a private equity-backed or acquisitive organization is highly valued, as is a focus on continuous improvement and scalability in a growing business environment. The role demands a leader who can effectively bridge the gap between corporate finance and field operations, and who is adept at leading change management and developing finance and accounting talent.
