Tax Principal

The Company is seeking a Tax Principal to take on a newly created, pivotal role as the in-house tax expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic tax advice, managing tax risk, and ensuring the business is in compliance with all relevant tax laws. This is a senior position that requires a professional with a strong technical background in Australian taxation, the ability to interpret complex legislation, and the confidence to operate at a senior level. The role is not limited to tax compliance; the Tax Principal will be a trusted adviser, helping the business navigate tax-related complexities and make informed commercial decisions. Applicants for the Tax Principal role at the company should have significant experience in a senior tax advisory, tax leadership, or principal-level position. Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation is essential, as is the ability to provide practical commercial advice and manage external advisers. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be CA or CPA qualified, and preferably hold a CTA or Masters of Tax.
