The Company is seeking a Middle Market Underwriting Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the development and maintenance of relationships with broker partners and customers across various industries. This role is pivotal in supporting business objectives and requires a professional with a strong background in property and casualty underwriting, including risk assessment, exposure evaluation, and pricing. The ideal candidate will be a customer advocate, focused on improving the customer experience by understanding unique risks and providing tailored insurance solutions. Collaboration with various business units is essential, and the role offers the opportunity to work with a growing and innovative industry. Applicants for the Executive Underwriter position should have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least 5 years' of experience in underwriting or market-facing roles, or a combination of a High School Diploma and 10 years' of experience in claims or underwriting support. The AVP, Underwriting Director role requires a High School Diploma and 7 years' of experience in underwriting or market-facing, or a combination of a High School Diploma and 14 years' of experience in claims or underwriting support. A Bachelor's degree and experience in all lines of business in the Middle Market space are preferred. The role demands strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will be empowered to use their technical underwriting, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with preferred distribution partners in the assigned territory.
