The Company is seeking a Vice President for Governmental and External Affairs to provide strategic leadership in the areas of governmental relations, external affairs, and public policy. The successful candidate will be the principal liaison with federal, state, and local government officials, working to advance the institution's mission and interests through effective engagement. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive governmental relations strategies, monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, and building relationships with elected and appointed officials. The Vice President will also lead efforts to identify and pursue public funding opportunities that support the institution's strategic priorities. Applicants for the Vice President position must have a Bachelor's degree and significant experience in governmental relations, public policy, legislative affairs, higher education, government, public administration, or a related field. The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex issues and work effectively in a politically sensitive environment. The Vice President will be expected to represent the institution with professionalism and integrity, ensuring that all activities comply with relevant laws and ethical standards.
