Chief People Officer (CPO)

The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to lead the reimagining of its people function, culture, and policies. This entrepreneurial leader will be responsible for integrating and evolving the company's diverse workforce, including both corporate and event-based teams. The CPO will play a key role in developing and implementing best practices to support the organization's high-performance goals, and must be an effective communicator, capable of challenging constructively and leading with empathy. The role involves overseeing all HR initiatives, from talent acquisition to organizational change, and requires a builder who is consultative, solutions-oriented, and can balance process with business outcomes. Candidates for the CPO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's or JD preferred, and a minimum of 12 years' HR management experience. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing heavy seasonal/hourly workforces and experience with labor unions. Key qualifications include a proven track record in HR program management, employee relations, and workforce administration, as well as the ability to adapt and innovate HR practices for a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. The CPO will be expected to demonstrate competencies in culture championing, executive credibility, emotional intelligence, and change management, and to have a strong understanding of HR disciplines and employment laws.
