Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a broad skill set that encompasses the CFO function and CCO oversight. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full COO seat, operating with significant autonomy to protect the Founder/CIO from day-to-day tasks. This role is pivotal in the spin-off and firm build-out phases, with a focus on bringing middle- and back-office functions in-house, overseeing compliance, and actively managing the global client base. In the business scale and growth phase, the COO will be instrumental in crafting and building a future hedge fund and ETF platform, serving as a commercial-minded partner to the investment team, and supporting investors on business initiatives. Applicants must have a core requirement of enabling the investment team to focus on their core activities, with a willingness to take ownership of all business aspects. The ideal candidate will have start-up and scale-up experience, hands-on experience in a similar investment management role, and a strong background in COO, CFO, and CCO functions. A technology and AI-forward mindset is essential, as is the ability to identify and implement the right vendors and platforms. The role demands a driven, in-the-trenches operator with a long-term commitment to the business, and a preference for candidates with hedge fund experience, industry relationships, and a client-facing presence.
