The Company is in search of a Head of Banking Operations to lead and manage the operational infrastructure of its U.S.-based corporate banking office. This hands-on leadership role requires a seasoned professional with a background in financial crimes and compliance, particularly in the areas of central compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing daily banking operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of transaction processing, and maintaining established controls. Key duties include providing oversight of commercial loan servicing, deposits, payments, trade finance, and treasury activities, as well as resolving operational issues and supporting regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, at least 5 years' of banking operations experience, and a strong understanding of corporate or commercial banking operations. Experience in commercial lending, trade finance products, and treasury operations is essential, with a preference for those who have worked within an international banking organization. The role also demands proficiency in the Portuguese language, as well as a deep knowledge of U.S. banking regulatory expectations, including BSA/AML and sanctions requirements. The Head of Banking Operations will be expected to lead a team, partner with various internal stakeholders, and drive process and control improvements to support the growth of the banking platform.
