Vice President, Information Security Audit Risk Assessments & Governance

The Company is in search of an ISO Vice President for Audit Risk Assessments and Governance. This role is pivotal in managing cybersecurity audits, risk assessments, issue remediation, and governance reporting within the information security organization. The successful candidate will be an individual contributor positioned between auditors and cybersecurity teams, responsible for coordinating audit activities from start to finish and maintaining visibility across multiple workstreams. Key responsibilities include managing cybersecurity and technology audits, serving as a liaison between internal audit and cybersecurity control owners, and supporting cyber risk assessments and findings management. Applicants should have 5-8 years' of experience in cyber GRC, IT risk, technology risk, cybersecurity, IT audit, internal audit, or related fields, with a strong background in managing or coordinating technology audits and cyber assessments. The role requires a working knowledge of cybersecurity controls, the ability to understand technical concepts, and strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with governance platforms and regulatory examinations is preferred, as is a background in banking or financial services. The ideal candidate will be confident in working with auditors and senior technology professionals and be able to influence stakeholders without direct reporting authority.
