Chief Medical Information Department Physician

The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Information Department Physician to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the organization and processing of medical information, including the design and management of tools and methods for data processing, analysis of PMSI data, and ensuring the quality and reliability of coding. This role also involves information dissemination, strategic advice, and management of a team of Medical Information Technicians. The Chief Medical Information Department Physician will be expected to supervise the team, train healthcare professionals in coding and DIM procedures, and stay abreast of regulatory, legal, and technological developments related to medical information. Applicants must be registered with the French Medical Council and hold a DES in Public Health, a DU in Medical Information, or an equivalent qualification. A significant background in a Medical Information Department or a related position is essential, as is proficiency in PMSI, coding nomenclatures, and the challenges associated with medical data and health information systems. The role requires a candidate who can guarantee the security and confidentiality of medical data, conduct studies and analyses to support decision-making, and provide strategic advice to the General Management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the quality of care, medical-technical efficiency, and patient records, and be capable of leading a team and collaborating with various departments within the healthcare facility.
