Head of Compliance

The Company is seeking a Head of Compliance to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, structuring, and managing the entire Compliance function in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment. This role demands a versatile, generalist Compliance professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a fintech company, bank, asset management firm, or a comparable regulated financial institution. The Head of Compliance will be a key partner to the business teams, addressing a wide range of compliance issues, including AML/CFT/KYC, customer protection, financial product distribution, governance, and ongoing monitoring. They will also be involved in the development of new products and activities, ensuring that regulatory requirements are integrated from the earliest stages of development. The ideal candidate for the Head of Compliance position at the company will have a strong grasp of AML/CFT/KYC topics, ongoing monitoring, governance, and regulatory compliance. Experience in investment, financial product distribution, customer protection, or payments is considered an asset. The role requires the ability to quickly understand new regulations and translate them into operational solutions, as well as experience in creating, structuring, or strengthening a Compliance function. Technical skills should include solid regulatory knowledge, proficiency in ongoing monitoring and compliance risk management systems, and a good understanding of financial products and digital customer journeys. The candidate should be fluent in French and English, and possess the desired qualities of being versatile, curious, and able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
