Head of Information Security

The Company is seeking a Head of Information Security with a strong background in legal and compliance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving security initiatives across multiple functions and managing security teams. This role requires a minimum of 12 years' of overall IT experience, with at least 8 years' in information security, and a proven track record of at least 4 years' in a senior leadership or managerial position. The Head of Information Security will be tasked with overseeing security architecture, identity and access management, SOC and threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat hunting. Additionally, the role demands expertise in security governance, business continuity, and a solid understanding of OT security requirements. Applicants for the Head of Information Security position at the company must hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field, with a Master's degree preferred. Mandatory certifications include CISSP, OSCE3, or GSE, with a strong preference for additional certifications in the security domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical skill set, including experience with a wide range of security technologies and a strong background in security operations. The role also requires a candidate with a strong understanding of legal and compliance aspects related to information security, particularly in the context of the United Arab Emirates. The Head of Information Security will be expected to lead a team and work closely with other functions to ensure the company's security posture is robust and in line with industry best practices.
