The Company is seeking a VP, Strategic Finance to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal in the automotive portfolio, with a focus on operating finance and M&A activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the strategic finance cadence across the portfolio, including forecasting, performance management, and CEO-level decision support. A key aspect of the role is to build and maintain operating models that go beyond budgeting, incorporating scenario planning, unit economics, and capital allocation decisions. The VP will also lead and support M&A work, from acquisition modeling to post-close value creation, and will be expected to build high-quality materials for board and investor meetings. Candidates for this role should have a background that includes strategic finance, FP&A, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking, with a strong emphasis on financial modeling and M&A experience. The ideal candidate will be able to seamlessly transition between operating and transaction-focused tasks, and will be a strategic thought partner with the ability to influence decision-making. Strong writing and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work with senior stakeholders and bring structure to the role without being bureaucratic. The role requires a high level of ownership, the ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
