About the Role
Greater Singapore, Singapore Area
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for L2 Production Support in Payment and Integration Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day issues, including the daily health checks of applications and processes. This role involves close collaboration with end users, development staff, and infrastructure teams to prioritize and resolve outages. The AVP will also handle production operational issues, investigate and provide workarounds for production issues, and support automated application health checks. Additionally, the role includes monitoring production activities, implementing continuous process improvement, and managing user responses for reported production issues. Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in a range of technical areas, including Java, J2EE, JMS, Web services, Micro Service, Oracle, UNIX, IBM MQ Series, CTRL-M, and Splunk. Strong middleware product knowledge and experience in supporting critical customer online payment integration and messaging systems are essential. The role requires experience in change management, problem management, and capacity and performance management, as well as a solid understanding of resiliency and redundancy designs. The ideal candidate will be adept at writing scripts, database queries, and generating capacity and performance reports, and will have a proven track record of implementing initiatives that create efficiencies and optimize technical processing.
