Associate Vice President, Site Reliability Engineering

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Site Reliability Engineering, a senior SRE lead responsible for the reliability, availability, scalability, and resilience of critical products and platforms. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving observability, automation, incident readiness, and recovery engineering to enhance service performance and minimize operational toil. This role involves working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product teams to lead proactive risk reduction, innovation, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SRE, cloud operations, or platform engineering, with hands-on expertise in a range of technical tools and a strong background in capacity planning, performance optimization, and cost management within high-availability environments. Key responsibilities for the AVP, Site Reliability Engineering include operating services against defined reliability objectives, building and maintaining monitoring and telemetry solutions, and independently managing incident resolution and recovery activities. The role also requires the development of automation to reduce operational effort, performance analysis, and capacity and resilience planning. The candidate should be adept at using modern technology, including agentic AI, for operational workflows and be capable of influencing cross-functional stakeholders to embed reliability and continuous improvement into platform engineering practices. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is essential, and exposure to financial market infrastructure is a distinct advantage. This is a demanding and pivotal role that offers the opportunity to shape the discipline of reliability engineering and make a significant impact on the organization's critical market infrastructure.
