The Company is seeking a VP, SRE Engineer with a focus on SIEM and Datalake to join their dynamic Technology Group. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise observability and reliability solutions across infrastructure and application domains. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational stability, risk control, and compliance with financial regulatory standards. Responsibilities include leading the deployment and configuration of SIEM and Datalake for full-stack visibility, defining telemetry data governance standards, and integrating with incident management and AIOps systems. The role also involves acting as a subject matter expert for architecture reviews, platform upgrades, and performance tuning, as well as championing SRE frameworks and reliability practices for mission-critical systems. Candidates for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in infrastructure, cloud, or SRE roles, and at least 5 years' specializing in SIEM and Datalake engineering or observability in financial or regulated environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SRE principles, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with financial sector operational resilience frameworks. Expertise in SIEM platforms, automation/IaC tools, and cloud platforms is essential, as is a proven track record in data lake and large-scale data platform management. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in detection engineering, response, and experience with applied AI for security and data. Preferred certifications include those in Splunk, Databricks, Terraform, Ansible, Python, AWS, Azure, and SRE.
