Chief Legal Officer (CLO)

The Company is seeking an experienced and operationally-oriented Chief Legal Officer to join their transformative organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and the management team, providing qualified legal support in a range of areas, with a particular focus on GDPR, data protection, and information management. This role is pivotal in ensuring legally sound processes and development at the intersection of law, data protection, IT, and digitalization. The Chief Legal Officer will also be involved in IT-related legal matters, including issues related to digital working methods and AI, and will participate in the company's contract group, assisting with labor law issues and other legal matters as they arise. Applicants for the Chief Legal Officer position at the company should hold a law degree and have several years' of experience in qualified legal work. While not mandatory, previous experience in the insurance field is preferred. The role requires a candidate who is confident in providing legal advice close to operations and management, and who can effectively translate complex legal issues into clear and practical guidance. Experience in areas such as IT law, digitalization, and AI, as well as a strong background in GDPR, data protection, and information management, is essential. The ideal candidate will be analytical, judgmental, and have a genuine interest in how new technology impacts the law and business operations. The ability to balance legal accuracy with the business's need for practical advice, and to work both independently and collaboratively, is also key.
