Head of Accounting

The Company is seeking a Head of Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including overseeing accounting operations, group consolidated financial reporting for the Japanese subsidiary, and supervising the annual audit process. This role also involves providing transition services during business and division divestitures, as well as leading and driving various projects related to accounting standards, policy changes, M&A, and IT. The Head of Accounting will manage the domestic finance team and direct reports to overseas offices, and will have the opportunity for close collaboration with global partners. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' accounting experience, human resource management experience, a Bachelor's degree, and be fluent in Japanese with business-level English proficiency. The ideal candidate will have a background that includes experience working at a Big4 firm.
