The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization, championing its legal and public education work, and stewarding relationships with community partners, funders, and governments. This role requires a leader with a strong commitment to intersectional, inclusive feminism, and a proven track record in fund development, team management, and turning strategy into action. The Executive Director will also be accountable for the organization's finances, operations, and people, and must bring at least five years of progressive senior leadership experience in the non-profit sector, or equivalent experience in other sectors. The ideal Executive Director for the company will have a background in non-profit governance, community engagement, and intersectional feminist advocacy.
