Assistant Vice President for Compliance

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Compliance to serve as the ethics and compliance officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering the university's compliance program, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, and maintaining the institution's commitment to integrity. This role involves overseeing various operational areas, including compliance, risk management, environmental health and safety, and Clery Act compliance. The Assistant Vice President will also be involved in developing and implementing a university-wide risk and compliance program, managing the compliance hotline, and serving as the university's liaison for public information and litigation requests. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' of significant experience in a compliance program, with a proven track record in a senior compliance leadership role. A Master's degree and professional certifications are preferred. The role requires a deep understanding of state and federal compliance laws, exceptional communication and analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels. The Assistant Vice President will be expected to proactively identify compliance risks, develop corrective action plans, and provide guidance to university leadership. Supervisory experience and the ability to lead a team are essential, as is the capacity to manage confidential information and travel as needed.
