Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is in need of an Interim CFO to provide essential financial leadership during a critical period. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including reporting, and accounting activities. This role is pivotal in managing budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning, as well as ensuring compliance with financial policies, regulations, and reporting requirements. The Interim CFO will also be tasked with overseeing grant compliance, tracking, and financial reporting, and must be prepared to present financial information to executive leadership and boards. Strategic financial planning and providing insights to support organizational goals are key aspects of the position. Applicants for the Interim CFO role at the company should have a background in previous CFO or senior finance leadership positions, with a strong preference for those with experience in nonprofit accounting and finance. Extensive experience in managing state and federal grants is also highly valued. The role requires the ability to monitor financial performance, provide strategic recommendations, and support audits while maintaining strong internal controls. The Interim CFO will be expected to mentor and support finance team members, as well as enhance financial processes.
