Associate General Counsel

The Company is seeking an Associate General Counsel to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be a senior member of the legal department, providing strategic and business-focused legal advice to the organization and its affiliated brands. This role involves close collaboration with senior leadership to identify and manage legal and business risks, as well as to facilitate business objectives. The Associate General Counsel will be responsible for a wide range of legal matters, including the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of various legal documents and agreements. They will also provide guidance on franchise sales processes, monitor legal developments, and manage both domestic and international trademark and litigation matters. Applicants for the Associate General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school, be admitted to the Bar in the state of Florida, and have 4-7 years of experience in commercial and business law, with an emphasis on transactional work. Intellectual property law experience is preferred, and experience in international legal matters and/or franchise law is a plus. The role requires a business-minded attorney with strong legal judgment, excellent client service, communication, negotiation, and project management skills. The ideal candidate will be adept at independently managing significant legal matters and projects, while also being able to recognize when to escalate complex or high-risk issues.
