Head of Accounting

The Company is seeking an experienced Head of Accounting to join its dynamic and entrepreneurial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a small team of accounting professionals, taking ownership of the group's accounting activities, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements with Swiss GAAP FER and the Swiss Code of Obligations. This role offers the opportunity to shape the accounting function, improve processes, and contribute to the digitalization of the finance function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, group accounting, audit, or fiduciary services, a recognized Swiss accounting qualification, and a good understanding of Swiss tax and VAT issues. As the Head of Accounting, you will be at the forefront of the company's financial operations, with a focus on managing the general ledger, sub-ledgers, and all closing activities. The role also involves supporting group accounting, consolidation, and individual legal entity accounting, as well as coordinating with external auditors and specialists for tax compliance.
