Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Remote (anywhere in Austria)

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead the definition and execution of its global cybersecurity strategy. The CISO will be responsible for protecting the company's information, systems, digital services, operational environments, products, and intellectual property, while also enabling secure business growth, innovation, and digital transformation. This role involves leading cyber risk management, security policies, controls, and regulatory compliance, as well as overseeing security operations, threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and cyber crisis readiness. The successful candidate will drive cybersecurity priorities across the business, strengthen security across various domains, and ensure that cybersecurity requirements are embedded in technology initiatives and digital transformation programs. Candidates for the CISO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field and extensive leadership experience in cybersecurity or a CISO-level function. A proven track record in developing cybersecurity strategies, governance frameworks, and global security programs is essential, as is strong expertise in security operations, incident response, and various security domains. The role requires solid knowledge of cybersecurity standards and regulations, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to lead global teams and drive security culture. The CISO will also be expected to advise executive leadership on cyber risks and represent the company in various engagements.
