The Company is seeking a Senior Associate General Counsel with a focus on corporate secretarial and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice on a range of matters, including corporate governance, legal developments, and compliance requirements. This role is pivotal in ensuring that the business units adhere to relevant laws and regulations, and in the implementation of best corporate governance practices. The Senior Associate General Counsel will also be involved in keeping the Group informed of legal updates, engaging with regulators and special interest groups, and coordinating with various stakeholders for transactions. Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree, with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) or Master in Business Administration (MBA) being an advantage. A minimum of 5 years' of relevant work experience as a licensed legal professional, particularly in the corporate secretarial and compliance requirements of publicly-listed companies, is required. Experience with the Philippine Stock Exchange and/or the Securities and Exchange Commission is also advantageous.
