This role is pivotal in the development of a dedicated product legal function, providing essential support to the company's global legal affairs. The successful candidate will be a trusted legal partner to the product, research, engineering, and go-to-market teams, with a focus on regulatory compliance and strategic transactions. Responsibilities include leading regulatory compliance efforts for the manufacture, distribution, and sale of technology products, both domestically and internationally, as well as drafting, negotiating, and executing complex technology-driven transactions. The role demands a versatile individual with a proven track record in both regulatory and transactional matters, and a strong desire to tackle novel legal questions in the technology space. Applicants for this role at the company should have a J.D. from an accredited law school, active membership in at least one U.S. state bar, and a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in regulatory compliance for technology products and a proven ability to handle complex technology transactions. In-house legal experience with a mature U.S. technology company and a background in hardware products or hardware-focused businesses are preferred.
