About the Role
Remote (anywhere in United States)
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Marketing to spearhead the development and execution of its commercial marketing strategy, with a focus on the patient-centered, clinical-stage biopharmaceutical sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for owning the marketing strategy across the product lifecycle, from launch planning to lifecycle expansion, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate clinical and market insights into commercial strategies. This role demands a leader with a deep understanding of the patient journey, treatment pathways, and the ability to establish differentiated strategies as the product expands into additional patient populations or disease settings. The VP, Marketing will also be instrumental in building and leading a high-performing marketing organization, establishing clear objectives, and fostering a culture of accountability, strategic thinking, and agile execution. Applicants for the Vice President, Marketing position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in biopharmaceutical commercial/marketing roles, with a strong background in specialty, rare disease, hematology, immunology, or other complex therapeutic markets. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in leading successful U.S. product launches, developing commercialization strategies for innovative therapies, and a strong understanding of the commercialization process, including brand strategy, market development, and customer engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in building or transforming marketing organizations, exceptional strategic thinking, and the ability to influence senior leadership. A background in CAR-T, cell therapy, gene therapy, or other highly specialized treatments is preferred, along with a demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
