Interim Executive Director, Technology & Transformation

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Technology & Transformation to lead a government-wide agenda connecting strategy, technology, investment, and organizational transformation. Responsibilities include setting direction for digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and business improvement; overseeing digital investment priorities, governance, value for money, and benefits realization; and guiding responsible AI adoption. The role also provides authoritative advice to senior government leaders, strengthens security, productivity, and service delivery, and builds high-performing teams and partnerships across sectors. Candidates should be accomplished executives with experience leading significant technology, digital transformation, investment, or organizational improvement portfolios in complex organizations. They should bring strong commercial judgment and understand business cases, procurement, assurance, investment governance, and benefits realization. The role requires the ability to turn strategy into disciplined delivery, explain complex issues clearly, support sound decisions, and build trusted relationships that enable teams to perform effectively. Public-sector experience is valuable but not essential.
