Interim Head of School, Business

The Company is seeking a Head of School/Dean of Business to lead its large and internationally recognized business school. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of shaping the future of business education, driving innovation, and fostering real-world impact. This pivotal role involves leading a newly merged faculty, building interdisciplinary connections, and advancing the school's distinctive identity. The Head of School will be responsible for providing strategic, academic, and operational leadership, with a key focus on strengthening the school's reputation, impact, and contribution across the university. They must be committed to excellence in teaching, research, and engagement, and support the school's aspirations for Māori and Pacific success. Applicants for this role should be respected academic leaders, ideally at the Professor level, with a strong track record in teaching, research, and engagement. The role requires significant people leadership experience, the ability to grow research quality and impact, and a proven track record in building strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a collaborative and engaging approach, be adept at navigating change, and have experience with AACSB and EQUIS accreditation processes.
