The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large professional disciplinary area within securities or derivative settlement, short- to medium-term planning, and exercising control over resources, budget, and policy formulation. Key responsibilities include serving as an expert in the settlement cycle, managing complex settlement issues, and leading change-the-bank settlement projects. The role also involves increasing productivity, overseeing the risk control environment, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' relevant experience, with a preference for those with senior to advanced level experience in a related role and a background in people management, particularly within banking and financial institutions. The role requires an in-depth understanding of financial services, significant experience in corporate banking, and a proven track record of coordinating with senior leadership.
