Vice President, Business Execution Greater Belfast, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President for a Business Execution role within the European Markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of critical activities, including supporting the European Markets Legal Entities and in-country governance and controls. This role involves managing governance forums, internal audits, and first-line defense activities, as well as addressing regulatory issues. The VP will also oversee the implementation and design of new controls, drive transformation initiatives in the risk and controls space, and ensure the business functions effectively. Key responsibilities include managing a robust governance framework, overseeing risk and controls monitoring, leading process and control automation, and representing the team in senior forums. Applicants for this role at the company should have extensive experience in a similar position, with a strong understanding of and interest in financial markets. Experience in internal audit and/or operational risk is preferred, as is a background in automating controls and processes using AI. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to collaborate globally, and excellent communication and influencing abilities.
