Head of Supply Chain Management

The Company is seeking a Head of Supply Chain Management to take on a pivotal role in the strategic and operational production planning process. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient implementation of daily planning, as well as the development and management of the planning organization. This includes supporting and further developing production planners as a key interface between sales and production, optimizing planning parameters, inventory strategies, and capacity models, and ensuring reliable medium- and long-term planning. The role also involves purchasing and supplier management, with a focus on maintaining material availability while optimizing inventory levels, and managing supplier development and risk programs. Applicants for the Head of Supply Chain Management position at the company should have a degree in industrial engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or a comparable field, and possess leadership experience in a related function. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and managing S&OP processes, as well as a strong background in production planning, procurement, inventory management, and logistics. Experience with modern ERP systems, particularly SAP, and a solid understanding of KPI and performance management systems are essential. Knowledge of regulated environments is advantageous, and the role requires excellent communication skills in both German and English.
