Vice President of Finance & Administration

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance and Administration to provide executive leadership for financial operations and designated administrative functions. The role leads budgeting, accounting, reporting, compliance, cash and debt management, audits, and long-range financial planning, while advising senior leadership on financial sustainability and strategic decisions. Responsibilities also include overseeing grant and restricted-fund administration, capital planning, and financial analysis, as well as providing strategic oversight of human resources and technology services. The Vice President will guide assigned administrative operations and contractual partnerships and collaborate with governing bodies and leaders across the organization. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, higher education administration, or a related field, and have at least 10 years of progressively responsible financial management experience. Required qualifications include expertise in budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, audits, compliance, federal grant management, and multiyear forecasting. Applicants should understand higher education finance and demonstrate executive leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, ethical judgment, and a commitment to responsible stewardship. A CPA or comparable credential and senior financial leadership experience in higher education are preferred.
