Associate Vice President, Card Operations Greater Chennai, India Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Card Operations to oversee card-related operational controls and coordinate daily activities with an external vendor. Responsibilities include managing third-party governance, tracking controls, risks, issues, and evidence, and serving as the main coordination point for internal stakeholders and the vendor. The role also covers card stock and collateral orders, inventory tracking, replenishment, vendor costs and invoices, and support for testing product changes. The successful candidate will manage a team handling embossing operations, monitor service quality and workload, and resolve queries, complaints, and escalations while maintaining operational continuity. Candidates should have a graduate degree or higher and 10–12 years of relevant experience; comprehensive knowledge of credit card operations is preferred. Strong analytical ability, logical thinking, risk awareness, communication, and customer service skills are required. The role also calls for teamwork, the ability to work under pressure, and experience directing and supporting team members. Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
