Assistant Vice President, Software Engineer

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Software Engineer to design, develop, test, implement, and support proprietary applications that address complex business needs. The role includes collaborating with business users to analyze requirements, identify enhancements and integration opportunities, and build scalable solutions within a Microsoft-based environment. The engineer will analyze large datasets, validate solutions through rigorous testing, and provide application maintenance and support. The position also involves working across teams and initiatives using Agile methods and established software development practices. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or a related field, along with at least seven years of relevant experience in financial services. Required qualifications include experience building and managing applications related to asset management, financial instruments, or portfolio management, and proficiency in one or more of C#/.NET, T-SQL, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, or jQuery. Applicants should bring strong analytical, problem-solving, SQL, relational database, testing, and software development lifecycle skills, as well as the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. Experience with system integrations and effective, critical use of AI tools is also valued.
