Vice President, Application Platform Cloud Solutions Engineer Greater Dallas, TX Area

The Company is seeking a senior Application Platform Cloud Solutions Engineer to define target-state architecture for critical business domains as part of a large-scale technology modernization. The role leads the transition from monolithic applications to resilient, cloud-native microservices and designs hybrid and multi-cloud platforms, secure network connectivity, and end-to-end data flows. Responsibilities include analyzing current processes and application landscapes, producing architecture and process blueprints, strengthening data integrity and controls, and embedding DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, and reliability practices. The successful candidate will collaborate with senior business and technology stakeholders and lead and mentor subject-matter experts. Candidates should have 12 or more years of relevant solutions architecture or cloud engineering experience, including hands-on delivery across private and public cloud, container platforms, enterprise networking, and application modernization. Strong expertise in Kubernetes or OpenShift, major cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, platform engineering, CI/CD, and observability is required, along with experience connecting on-premises systems to client, market-data, and payment networks. Applicants should bring financial-services and large-scale transformation experience, sound knowledge of regulatory and systems risk considerations, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex concepts clearly. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; a master’s degree and relevant cloud or networking certifications are advantageous.
