Vice President of Software Engineering Greater Dallas, TX Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Software Engineering to lead a large engineering organization and oversee web, mobile, API, and platform development. The role will guide a full platform modernization, establish strong engineering practices, and ensure reliable performance during major traffic surges. Responsibilities include setting architecture and cloud strategy, improving quality and release processes, and partnering with product leaders early to shape roadmaps. The leader will also advance AI-enabled engineering and product capabilities, strengthen security and resilience, and support content, streaming, and fan engagement experiences. Candidates should have at least 12 years of software engineering experience, including six or more years leading engineers and experience managing other leaders. Required qualifications include a record of modernizing or scaling a platform, deep cloud and distributed-systems expertise, and experience delivering both web products and native mobile apps. Applicants should bring practical knowledge of AI and data, performance engineering, modern development technologies, quality systems, and product partnership, along with a demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain strong engineering teams. Experience with live events, streaming, real-time data, or multi-tenant software is preferred.
