Chief of Staff, Vehicle Hardware Engineering

The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff and Business Operations Manager to lead the business operations team supporting vehicle hardware engineering. The role serves as a strategic partner to executive leadership, translating organizational priorities into engineering plans and coordinating execution across functions. Responsibilities include leading strategic planning, governance, performance dashboards, executive communications, and cross-functional initiatives. The Chief of Staff will also drive continuous improvement, productivity, risk management, and a culture of transparency and operational excellence. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or a related technical management field; a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline is strongly preferred. Requirements include at least 10 years of progressive automotive hardware engineering leadership and two or more years managing operational, process, or program teams in complex global manufacturing environments. Candidates should bring expertise in engineering development processes, reliability, root-cause analysis, quality methods, and systems engineering, along with experience in strategic planning, productivity modeling, cost analysis, and footprint optimization. Strong executive communication, cross-functional leadership, and a commitment to identifying and escalating technical risks are essential.
