President, PE-Backed Automotive & Industrial Supplier

The Company is seeking a President to lead its private equity-backed automotive and industrial supplier. The successful candidate will be a P&L leader with a strong background in the manufacturing, industrial, and automotive sectors, particularly with experience in Tier 2 and 3 supplier environments. The President will be responsible for the overall P&L, strategic direction, financial performance, and operational success of the organization. This role involves growing top-line revenue, driving profitability, and leading the company through a potential transaction. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 15-20 years of industry experience. A minimum of 10 years in a senior leadership role, with a focus on P&L management, is required. Key responsibilities for the President include developing and implementing the company's strategic vision, identifying opportunities for growth, and leading organizational change and continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves overseeing budgeting, financial planning, and ensuring the company meets its profitability and growth objectives. The candidate should have a strong commercial background, experience with Lean Manufacturing, CI, and Six Sigma, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, interpersonal skills, and a proven track record of leading sales and commercial teams are essential. The President will be expected to foster a culture of accountability, integrity, teamwork, and continuous improvement, and to ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements.
