The Company is seeking two new Board Members to join its governance team. The successful candidates will bring experience in either social housing, particularly within the Scottish Registered Social Landlord (RSL) environment, or substantial financial and accounting expertise. The role involves working closely with the Executive Leadership Team and fellow Board Members to contribute to the strategic direction of the organization, ensuring effective governance, and supporting the delivery of high-quality services. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges in their respective areas, be able to provide informed perspectives on regulation, financial sustainability, and future strategic opportunities, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to the values and social purpose of the organization. Applicants for the social housing position should have a background that includes senior executive, operational, strategic, or governance roles within the sector, while those applying for the finance and accountancy position should possess a professional accountancy qualification or significant relevant financial experience. The Board is particularly interested in individuals who can bring strong strategic thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to provide constructive challenge while working collaboratively. Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills are essential. Previous Board experience is welcome but not essential, and the organization encourages senior professionals considering their first non-executive appointment to apply, provided they have the necessary experience, perspective, and commitment to make a meaningful contribution.
