Executive Director of Human Resources Greater Fort Worth, TX Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Human Resources to provide strategic leadership across its human resources functions. The role oversees recruitment and retention, employee relations, compensation and classification, benefits, payroll, training and development, and compliance with employment laws. Responsibilities include leading staff and departmental resources, advising leaders on sensitive HR matters, directing performance evaluation and employee engagement initiatives, and developing consistent policies and procedures. The Executive Director also manages workforce programs, records and information security, and evaluates HR services and expenditures to improve effectiveness. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, public policy, public affairs, or a related field, along with at least seven years of progressively responsible HR experience, including five years in management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong knowledge of public-sector HR practices and employment law, strategic advisory skills, leadership, project management, and the ability to handle confidential information are required. Municipal or public agency experience and a relevant professional HR certification are preferred.
