Interim Head of SAP Greater Vienna, Austria Area + 1 more

The Company is seeking an interim Head of SAP to stabilize and develop an established SAP delivery organization through a period of transformation. The role leads a team of internal staff and external consultants, providing direction and continuity while guiding organizational change and building effective leadership structures. Responsibilities include operational and financial oversight of utilization, project profitability, resource planning, and delivery quality, as well as supporting strategic client relationships and complex negotiations. The Head of SAP will also develop the service portfolio, contribute to succession planning, and support a structured leadership transition. Candidates should have at least 10 years of leadership experience in SAP consulting or systems integration, including five or more years with budget and profit responsibility. Experience leading an SAP delivery unit, practice, or business unit is required, along with a strong understanding of SAP consulting operations, SAP S/4HANA transformations, and the SAP partner ecosystem. Familiarity with the Austrian SAP market and client management is important; successful interim, restructuring, or change assignments are an advantage. Excellent German and negotiation-level English are required, as are strong listening, communication, decision-making, and change leadership skills.
